Youth Theatre Camp “Bravery in the Barnyard”

BRAVERY IN THE BARNYARD is an original play by Deb Kennedy inspired by popular children’s book “Storm is Coming!” with original music by Travis Smith.

Meet Payton Pig and the rest of the gang on the farm. Then meet Linus, the new kid. The animals work together showing Linus the daily routine in the barnyard until one day an unexpected visitor arrives. Who is this visitor, and why is he here? Soon, imaginations run wild, and panic sets in. Through courage and teamwork, (and a lively group hoedown) the farm friends learn to face their fears ferociously.

Students will work with theatrical professionals each day from 9-1 at the Amana Performing Arts Center, 39 38th Ave, Amana, IA.

At the end of the week the students will act, sing, dance and SHINE as they perform for their families and friends of the community.

Nut free snacks provided.

PERFORMANCE: June 13th at 7pm at The Amana Performing Arts Center.
