Historic Communal Dinners Taste and experience our history To efficiently feed the population of the seven villages it was decided that meals would be made…
Looking for a little music? You’ll find talented singers and bands at some of our local restaurants, wineries, and our brewery. You might find yourself in a beer garden, a beer hall or even in a vineyard. These businesses have regular entertainment at different times of year:
Every Saturday from June to August you can enjoy live entertainment from classic rock to blues to fun polka tunes in the brewery’s Biergarten located in the village of Amana. Seating is limited so you might want to bring a folding chair or blanket along with some friends. Beverages (this is a brewery after all) and food are available.
From March to May and again from October to December Millstream Brewing moves their entertainment indoors to their beer hall, adjacent to the brewery, with “Live Saturday Nites”. Expect the same fine music with a different artist or band each Saturday. The beer flows and the German cuisine comes to the table in this lively setting.
Located just southwest of the Amana Colonies you can enjoy live music on their outdoor patio while soaking in the natural beauty of the Iowa countryside that surrounds Fireside Winery. Live music every Sunday afternoon and occasional summer evening events.
Along with first-rate live theatre, the Old Creamery often books one or two-night musical performances throughout the year. The schedule and artist vary so check the schedule of events.
