R.C. Eichacker – Author Visit and Book Signing
The Amana Community Library, located at 3023 220th Trail, Middle Amana, is pleased to welcome local historian, R.C. Eichacker, for two author talks and book signings on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
R.C. will share insights from his new book, Marriage by Committee, exploring the fascinating traditions and communal practices surrounding marriage during Amana’s communal era from 1855–1932.
Both afternoon and evening sessions will include a brief presentation, an audience Q&A, and a book signing. Copies of Marriage by Committee will be available for purchase at the event.
