MEET THE ROOSEVELTS AT THE AMANA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

August 5th – MEET THE ROOSEVELTS at The Amana Performing Arts Center.
Take a walk back in time and meet President Theodore Roosevelt and Mrs. Roosevelt during the White House years. During the presentation, they discuss current (1901 – 1909) topics, their time at the White House, family, and their after the White House years.
There will be time after the presentation to meet performers Larry and Julia and for questions and answers.
Larry and Julia Marple have been performing as Theodore and Edith Roosevelt since 2008. They have performed at Theodore Roosevelt’s home, Sagamore Hill in New York and at Roosevelt Memorial Island in Washington DC, as well as numerous venues across the country. This will be their 10th summer performing in Medora, North Dakota. Larry is a second-grade teacher in Springfield, Ohio. Julia worked most of her career in the history field, including the Ohio Historical Society.
