Amana Heritage Society and TKM Theatrical Productions present Kathe Mull’s gentle comedies about friendship, community, and the heart of Iowa on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, at the Homestead Village Church Museum
What happens when an Iowa-born theatre artist spends a lifetime on and behind the stage, makes New York City her home, and then turns back to Iowa for inspiration? The result is The Iowa Plays—four gentle one-act comedies by playwright Kathe Mull, receiving their first public reading on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Homestead Village Church Museum, 4210 V Street, Homestead.
Presented by the Amana Heritage Society and TKM Theatrical Productions, doors will open at 2:30 p.m., with the performance beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person and are available online at amanaheritage.org/store or by calling the Amana Heritage Society at 319-622-3567. Admission includes an intermission menu featuring an “Amana-rite” sandwich, Amana’s playful homage to Iowa’s famous Maid-Rite sandwich.
