Colonies in Bloom – Hunt for the Hidden Gems

A new twist on a favorite Amana Colonies Event.  This year our June date will feature all the hidden gems in the villages of Homestead, High Amana, Middle Amana, South Amana, & West Amana. Visit shops and private gardens off the beaten path to discover your favorite Amana Colonies Hidden Gem. Each stop will feature a garden and/or gardening-related items.

We will also be having a hunt for “Hidden Gems.” Be the first to find one of the rocks with the gemstone painted on it and return the rock to the Visitor Center to win a special prize. A “gem” will be hidden at each location.

And don’t forget to join us for our July 22nd date when selected private gardens will be open to the public.  As an added bonus our famous Lotus Lilies are in bloom on our Lily Lake between the villages of Amana and Middle Amana in late July and early August.
