INTERMEDIATE YOUTH THEATRE CAMP “SPOTLIGHT SHOWCASE”

This is a 5-day intensive theatrical training camp for students ages 12 and up.
SPOTLIGHT SHOWCASE focuses on well-known classic and beloved musical theatre scenes, songs, and dances.

*There is LIMITED space as there will be more one-on-one time with the youth counselors.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

ORIENTATION – The journey begins with orientation. This will be a chance to meet the counselors, meet the fellow campers, and also for the counselors to meet and get to know the students.
**This will be done via ZOOM to allow a bit more flexibility.

*Counselors will ask all students to sing a song they are familiar with. Selections may be sung either acapella, or with their own accompaniment track.

If your child would rather just act, or dance, please let the counselors know.

Don’t worry! This is just a way for the counselors to learn each student’s comfort levels, and to offer a program tailored to the students.

CAMP HOURS:

Monday – Friday (June 15-19) from 10a- 3p at the Amana Performing Arts Center, 39 38th Ave, Amana, IA.

At the end of the week the students will act, sing, dance and SHINE as they perform for their families and friends of the community.

Light lunch & Nut Free snacks will be provided.

PERFORMANCE: June 19th at 7pm at The Amana Performing Arts Center.

REGISTRATION: $150 per student

**Youth Camp T-Shirt, and 2 tickets to the SPOTLIGHT SHOWCASE INCLUDED in the registration fee.
