Hand-Building with Clay
November 8 @ 9:00 AM - November 9 @ 5:00 PM

This intensive two-day workshop is designed for practicing clay artists and K–12 educators seeking to expand their technical skills and pedagogical strategies in ceramic hand-building. Participants will engage in hands-on exploration of foundational and advanced construction methods that do not require the potter’s wheel, including pinch, coil, and slab building, as well as the use of slump molds and forms. Emphasis will be placed on both the development of personal artistic expression and the translation of these processes into adaptable, classroom-ready projects appropriate for diverse grade levels.
