Iowa River Valley Adventures

For four months, from winter to spring, we will introduce visitors to the natural wonders of wildlife, culture and history of the Iowa River Valley. We offer to guide our visitors while they explore the timber, wetlands and trails of the Amana and Marengo area open spaces. We have a tendency to go off the the beaten path to find unique experiences for our guests.

Each Month (January, February, April and May) we will meet on the first Saturday at 9 am at the Amana Trail parking area. Your fee will cover all hikes if you choose to attend all four. Our activities are Family Adventures designed for children and their adults. January’s Snow Stories Wildlife Walk, February’s Bones Hike, April’s Wild Edible Walk and May’s Geology in a Creek are all located at the Amana Nature Trail.
