Located 30 miles east of Amana is the home of our nation's 31st president, Herbert Hoover. Visit the changing exhibits at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library/Museum and National Historic Site. Another must-see is Hoover's birthplace cottage, his father's blacksmith shop, the Quaker Meeting House, and the gravesites of President and Mrs. Hoover.
