Weddings are always special events.  Weddings in the Amana Colonies are a cause for celebration. Many local citizens talk of fishing, camping, and ice skating during family outings at the Middle pond.  Today the pond is part of the Amana Colonies Golf Club and Event Center. The pond is beautifully maintained and is perfectly situated for outdoor weddings.  In the summer the sunsets on the pond are shimmering and in the fall the colors of the forest go wild.

The New Jerusalem Church is also part of the wedding facilities at the Amana Golf Club and Event Center. The 130-year-old church and bell tower provide a beautiful backdrop for your special day.

Accommodations and reception facilities are available at the Event Center.  Our chef has prepared everything from bar-b-que to salmon with raspberry sauce.  A special favorite is stuffed Iowa chops.  The views from our reception facility are unparalleled in Iowa and occasionally couples add late night fireworks to cap off the day.
